TECTONIC SHIFTS: PLANNED AND UNPLANNED NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP TRANSITIONS

Right here in San Mateo County, many organizations are in the midst of tremendous leadership changes. Some are sudden and some are planned. What are the resources that we have at our fingertips to navigate these changes? For those organizations that haven't experienced a leadership change in years, what can they do to anticipate such shifts, and how should board and staff teams plan for succession? This will explore this topic through a variety of lenses and draw from examples from within our own community. This session will be ideal for board and executive staff teams.
