Old Goats and Kids Who Care

Please join the Old Goats and Kids Who Care as we strive to support Warrior Foundation Freedom Station through donations and community fundraisers. Together, we can make a positive difference for ill and injured service members as they recover, rehabilitate and transition to a new chapter in civilian life. Additionally, we can give the youth who represent Kids Who Care a valuable opportunity to interact with wounded warriors.

Founded in 2004, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station is a leading force in assisting, honoring and supporting the military men and women who have bravely served and sacrificed for our country. The foundation provides ill and injured warriors with quality-of-life items, support services and transitional housing designed to assist them and their families during recovery.

The Freedom Station transitional housing residence has been a particularly groundbreaking program. When Freedom Station opened its doors in 2011, it became the first transitional housing residence of its kind in the San Diego region – a place for healing, personal growth and preparation for the transition to civilian life.

Today, San Diego remains home to one of the largest military populations in the world. Since the grand opening of Freedom Station in 2011, the concept has been proven and the need is greater than ever. Warrior Foundation Freedom Station has purchased a second housing facility in San Diego; the new nine-unit complex has been named Freedom Station II, a nod to its sister property and the continuing mission to help San Diego’s warriors successfully transition from military service to civilian life. Freedom Station II will open in the spring of 2020.

Warrior Foundation Freedom Station is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in San Diego, California. For more information, please visit www.warriorfoundation.org.
