While taking advantage of the great hospitality and beauty of the Nepalese and the Himalayas I would like to take the opportunity to give a little back and provide some exposure to a very deserving charity called Sunsar Maya.
The Sunsar Maya team provide educational opportunities to better the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children through an after school program. Not only do they support the children academically but they also offer the emotional and physical support they need to grow out of their circumstances and be successful in life. Donations go towards the employment of local teachers, meals for the children and the purchase of books and craft supplies.
