The recent flooding in our community has been unlike anything we’ve seen before. Tens of thousands have been impacted, including a number of our area’s artists – who are also members at BRG – who have faced traumatic flooding of their studios, their artwork, their homes, their vehicles, and more.

BRG has been committed to the artists of our area for five decades now. Simply put, without them, there is no us. But they are not just artists who live in this area, they are artists who serve this area. Baton Rouge Gallery – center for contemporary art (“BRG”) is a nonprofit contemporary art venue and is the nation’s longest-standing artist cooperative.
