Appetite for Art

Join Upturn Arts at the 4th Annual Appetite for Art dinner on Sunday, October 9, 2016 to raise funds for the organizations' mission to provide "Arts for All!" to children in the New Orleans community.

The evening kicks off at 6:00pm with cocktail hour and passed hors d'oveures at Casa Borrega - three toppings on homemade blue corn tortilla chips: camarón a la diabla (spicy garlic shrimp), huitlacoche with esquites (corn truffle with sautéed corn kernels), and flor de Calabaza (squash blossoms). The hour will include a special performance with our Young Artists and David Shaw of The Revivalists. 

At 7:00pm, guests will second line to Primitivo for a three-course meal provided by the following:

Atchafalaya

appetizer - butternut squash risotto cake, sprout salad, brown butter vinaigrette

Primitivo

entree -  smoked chicken, beet puree, fall vegetables from

Trinity New Orleans 

dessert - dark chocolate mousse, candied cocoa nibs, berries from

With bread baskets from Maple Street Patisserie.

Wine is provided by Artisan Fine Wines of Covington, LA.

During dinner, live music will be performed by one of our Upturn Arts music instructors along with pop up performances from other staff members. 

Tickets are available as single, couple, and tables of ten. 

Every ticket sold sponsors one Young Artist one day a week for the fall semester!
