Yep! We are doing it again! We are getting back in those outrigger canoes to paddle 25 miles from Trenton to Camden down the Delaware River, to support UrbanPromise Trenton. You can see by our smiles after last year's Paddle for Promise, that it was SO worth it. What a fun day!
We are “Paddling for Promise” to raise money to support the awesome StreetLeader Program which employs Trenton teens, offers enrichment activities and leadership opportunities for our teens- all in a safe, nurturing environment.
Our teen StreetLeaders are such awesome kids and Trenton holds a very special place in our hearts. The experience of being a volunteer in Trenton has filled a void in our lives that we cannot explain. We have grown to truly love this organization and all of the people involved. Every day, every hour, and even every minute spent with children and teens that truly appreciate every little thing makes us coming back for more, and now our entire family is involved! All of our children, and even our nieces and many of their friends have gotten involved and have grown to love UrbanPromise Trenton. UrbanPromise Trenton has changed countless lives for the better, including ours.
We hope that YOU would like to support us in our Paddle for Promise. Your donation is critical to the success of the StreetLeader Program.
