"You got me into reading!" At age 8, Anthony had never completed a full year of school. He read at a 1st grade level. Consequently, he did not like to read. After experimenting with various books, his CASA volunteer found a series that interested Anthony. Suddenly, Anthony could not read enough! Now, at age 10, Anthony reads at a 4th grade level and continues to improve.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 to serve 30 new foster children with a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
