Join us from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Whidbey Institute's Westgarden for this special offering, the first in a series of three herbal classes running through fall 2017. Cost is $45 general admission, or $30 for Westgarden volunteers.

Kumudini Shoba, Ayurvedic practitioner, will teach about Ayurveda and how to prepare for Spring with a light cleanse using nettles and other tonic spring herbs that grow here in the Northwest.  This will be a hands-on workshop held in the garden and greenhouse.

Kumudini Shoba is from a family in Sri Lanka with a long "Vaidhya" (healer) tradition.  She is a Master Herbalist who has studied both eastern and western herbs.  She also has a master's degree in bio-organic chemistry.
