4word: Colorado Springs Summer Series - June

This summer, we are focusing on connection in smaller groups where we can unlock the fullness of God’s potential in our lives and enter the fall season at a running pace. 

Host spotlight: For the months of June and July we will meet at the Discover Goodwill, 1460 Garden of the Gods Rd., Colorado Springs. Just after you pass the intersection of Garden of the Gods and Centennial heading west you’ll want to turn right just after the Chipotle. Keep straight and you will deadend at the opportunity center. Park anywhere in front. You can support our host by bringing some high quality clothing items to donate to their special Déjà Blue Boutique event. Read more about this fabulous fundraiser in AdWeek magazine.

Our summer program is a small group expo. You will have a chance on June 2 to choose two of the following three groups:

Family Dynamics for the Working Woman - Marlene
·         Abstract: The goal of this session is to address those challenges and explore ways in which we can live out our faith, even in the midst of a sometimes chaotic family situation, and how to gain strength from our relationship with the Lord.

Deepening Your Walk with God through Prayer - Betsy
·         Abstract: One of the greatest needs expressed by our women is the desire to know God’s voice and deepen our walk with him. Our prayer chaplain will lead us in a discussion exploring our intimacy with the Savior.

Curating Your Career as an Ambassador for Christ in the Workplace - Donna
·         Abstract: The past few 4word meetings have revealed several ladies in a state of transition, wondering what's next, wondering when she will really start living out her God-designed potential. The goal of this session is to grow closer in our awareness of the heart of God as it relates to how we represent him at work and curate our career path.
 
In small groups we will invite ladies to participate in triads over the summer, connecting over coffee, wine, a hike… Everyone who wants to participate will drop cards in a bucket and we will randomly assign the triads. You will determine your first meeting date before you leave.

• It would really help us if we have your RSVP by June 19!
• We always meet on the third Thursday evening of every month, so mark your calendar.
• We charge a small $10 stipend to cover our costs and light refreshments. We cannot accept cancellations but will gladly apply your registration toward our scholarship fund if you can’t make it.
