Luke's Ride 2017

Luke’s Journey Autism Fund was established on March 3rd, 2016 by Doug Underwood. Luke’s Journey Autism Fund is inspired by Doug’s son, Luke, who was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at age 3. Realizing that insurance does not always cover recommended services, therapies, and equipment, Doug set up a fund through Autism Empowerment and began fundraising to help families with youth on the autism spectrum have better access to services they need that are financially out of their reach.

The mission of Luke’s Journey Fund is to provide grant opportunities and resources for families in Southwest Washington and the Portland, OR metro area, who need financial assistance to cover costs specifically related to supporting their child or children diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

Since March 2016, Luke's Journey has raised over $3,500.  We will be holding Luke's Ride 2017 to try and bring that dollar amount over $10,000!

The intent is for Luke's Journey Fund to become an independent foundation in 2017. Luke's Journey Ride will help us achieve that goal.
